Alaska-salmon tender experience

I spent a month and a half up in Juneau, Alaska working on a salmon tender boat this past summer. It was a priceless experience. I learned a great deal while up there about myself, as well as about the seafood industry. It is truly amazing how much money is invested into the industry. Prior to my time up on the boat, I wouldn't have been able to link a dog, red, silver and humpy to anything other than colors and animals. Now I know that they represent Chums, Sockeyes, Cohos and Pinks as the four main species of salmon respectively. Now that I have returned back to the "lower 48", I am beginning my job search in quite possibly the worst possible time...I have been in contact with several people that have been very kind, but don't have any substantial leads at this time. My ideal job would be to work in the sports marketing department at a company, but I am begging to realize how difficult it is to find a position like that, let alone get an interview for the job. I will keep you posted on my progress. Wish me luck!
